Josh McCaughey smashes 25# weight throw record and Tristan Colangelo takes over US#1 in 4:11.82 mile in 31st Dartmouth Relays - Bishop Hendricken RI senior's throw of 80-3 breaks former teammate Jacob Freeman's US record (National Scholastic Indoor in Boston last year) by 3 feet Saturday. Colangelo beats Jason Jabaut 4:13.16. Lee Ansaldo's 6.40 55m is new US#1, edging Sheldon Simpson 6.44 and Carlos Bedoya 6.48. 

Samantha Shepard takes undisputed US#1 in girls pole vault with a leap of 12-1.25 (Jeff Robbins' Air Time club takes top 4 spots and 8 of top 11!). Another new US#1 is Josh Kauke 1:54.58 in the 800m. Allison Hoffman, Rocky Point NY, won the mile in 5:04.04 over Colonie's Kate Twarog and Jen Kramer. Colonie NY girls 4x800 relay edged Manchester Central NH by the narrowest of margins, .01 second, in 9:33.79. 

Canadian Gavin Cosgrove wins 2-mile in 9:36.10. Jeff Chakouian raises his US leading shot put to 61-10.25. Melissa Donais, Northeast Region Foot Locker Cross Country champion, fell at the start of the girls mile and injured her leg. She is awaiting word from her doctors on the extent of her injury. 

US shot put leader Laura Gerraughty came back for Sunday's open competition and raised her season best by more than 2 feet to 47-5.25
