3. Catie Davis Jr. Peekskill, NY 7:49.98 Summary: several would be favorites including Leah Buletti skipped this eight-lap affair and left the door open for Dutkowski to shine on her own. Dutkowski pulled away from Vaskyte the last several laps to secure the title. Although the winning mark was far from the meet record, the race was very competitive and seemed credible to a sparse but cheerful crowd. The race wasn’t without controversy as five competitors were disqualified for violations.
