Fraker overhauled Throw One Deep teammate Nabil Mubarak on his fourth throw.
Junior Davis Fraker (Throw1deep/McIntosh, Peachtree City, Ga.) upended teammate Nabil Mubarak (Throw1deep/Grayson, Loganville, Ga.), 71-8 ¼ to 69-1, to move into third on the national indoor list. Miles Freberg (Throw1deep/Wilton, Marietta, Ga.) was third at 69-1 just one inch below his seasonal best. Sophomore Enrique Gaithlan (Throw1deep/Spoprayberry, Marietta, Ga.) was fourth at 60-2 ½ for a three-foot personal best. Justin Roberts (Central, Cheyenne, Wy.) stopped the Throw1 Deep run with a fith places finish at 59-6 ½.

Chambers wins, but is a bit disapponted. Her first throw was her best, but it was 4 feet under her PR and not near the national record she was aiming for.
Earlier this year Lauren Chambers (Throw1deep/Kell, Marietta, Ga.) had moved into second on the all-time list this winter at 61-7 ½, and after taking the lead in the first round at 56-6 ½, it became clear that she had that record on her mind. Unfortunately, Chamber fouled each of her remaining five throws but did end up winning the competition. After the first round the places behind Chambers were Jazmin Miller (Throw1deep/Hiram, Ga.) at 53-6, Aslynn Halverson (Higher Power/Butler, Charlotte, N.C.) at 48-9 ½ and Patrice Gates (Throw1deep/Villa Rica, Ga.) at 48-5 ½. The only change that took place in the following five rounds saw Gates move from fourth to third in the third round with a throw of 53-1 1/2. Breanna Radford (Throw1deep/Alpharetta, Ga.)was fifth at 47-7 ¼ and Katie Bragg (Throw1deep) was sixth at 47-0 as the Throw1deep Club from Marietta (Ga.) took 11 of the top 13 places.
