Prior Years
NSIC - Home of National Records
There have been national records set at NSIC every year since 2001.

NSIC has been around since the early 1990s. It really took off when it moved from Boston to New York to run on the super fast track at the New York Armory, the self-proclaimed "fastest indoor track in the world."  National records have become routine since then, especially in the sprints that benefit from the high banked Mondo surface, which is all new again this year.

2008
D'Angelo Cherry GA 6.14 55m USR
Nick Vena NJ 66-7.25 SP - US freshman class record.

2007
Ke'Nyia Richardson CA 44'6.75 USR - smashing the national record by half a foot  on her last jump (right, photo by John Nepolitan)
Walter Henning NY 86-5.5 WT USR
Ashton Purvis CA 23.55 200m - US freshman class record

2006
Walter Henning NY 85-6 WT USR
Bianca Knight MS doubles 7.26 and 23.31.

2002
Five national records for second straight year, with Sanya Richards FL breaking both the 200 and 400 records. Also Samantha Shepard MA (PV), Red Bank NJ girls (DMR), and Deep Creek VA boys (4x200).

2001
Five national records, including two by Angel Perkins CA (200 and 400) within 90 minutes. Brendan Christian TX (21.02) and Glen McFadden CT (21.05) each beat the 200 record in an epic finish. Also Samantha Shepard MA (PV) and Wilson Long Beach CA girls (SMR).
