Sat., Day 8 - Bullard wins his 3rd National 400 Title - NON and NIN champ Ja-Vell Bullard VA won his Young Men's 400 showdown over Bernard Goodwyn DE and Tavaris Tate MS, 47.32 to 47.42 and 47.73, and anchored his Norfolk Real Deal TC to an easy 3:10.57 4x4 win.  Dentarius Locke FL authored a fine 10.49w/21.03w 100/200 double in YM.   The day's other sprint doublers and record-setters were led by Kendall Baisden MI (Sub-Youth girls) with a double AAU national division record 54.72/24.03 400/200, Megan Paul IL (Youth girls) with a near-triple 54.63 (AAU div. record) / 12.00w(2nd by .05) / 24.44 in the 400/100/200, and Dejor Simmons MD 10.54/21.55 double in Intermediate Boys.

Fri., Day 7 - Hot qualifier for Goodwyn - In YM 400 qualifying, Bernard Goodwyn DE, 5th at NON, blazed a 46.64 to lead a field of qualifiers that includes NON 1-2 Ja-Vell Bullard VA and Tavaris Tate MS.   OH distance standout Donny Roys anchored his North Canton Flyers to YM 4x800 title. Shakeia Pinnick and Donique Flemings, winners of several medals between them, were among YW 400 qualifiers.  In younger age groups, Jeremiah Sokol, Lindon Caesar, and the K Y TC set national records.

Thurs., Day 6 - Doubles for Flemings, Brannon - Texans Donique Flemings and A'Lexus Brannon followed Wednesday's wins by hitting the top of the podium again, with each winning 100H titles in 13.84 (YW) and 14.26 (IG), respectively.  Hot 4x400 and 200 heats in the Young Men's and Women's age groups saw times as fast as 3:16.16 and 21.93, and 3:51.67 and 24.37 get left out of the final.  Rachel Fisher TX (12-06) tied the AAU pole vault national record in YW, while Kendall Baisden, Jordan Bracy, Kendell Williams, Mike Dash, and Stacey Destin set records in younger age groups.

Wed., Day 5 - Texans lead super day in Michigan - Donique Flemings TX topped Shakeia Pinnick IL in a terriffic 400H battle, 58.66-58.98, with Pinnick having won the 800 (2:12.37, her 2nd gold) just 90 min. earlier.  Other victorious Texans included Zach Ornelas (YM USATF national record 6:00.78 2k steeple), A'Lexus Brannon (19-11w LJ in YW), and Stephen Saenz (67-00 SP in YM, 2nd gold of meet).  A super HJ in YM saw 3 clear 7-00, with Mike Edwards FL winning on misses.  Also, Dapo Akinmoladun MO crushed the USATF national mark in the Youth triple jump at 46-11.75.

Tues., Day 4 - Another victory & 41-footer for Brewer - CA triple jumper Ciarra Brewer made it a USATF/AAU JOs double by taking her specialty again in 41-08.25, three feet ahead of A'Lexus Brannon TX.  Standout prep throwers Aslynn Halvorson NC (NON champ) and Stephen Saenz TX took the YW and YM discus throws in 152-06 and 170-06, with Halvorson beating Penn shot champ Emily Vannoy MD.

Mon., Day 3 - Prelims Begin, Pinnick going for more gold - After winning hept, Shakeia Pinnick IL leads 400H qualifying with 1:00.34.  Also, Avione Allgood NV broke the AAU Intermediate Girls national mark in the jav with 140-10.

Sat., Day 1 / Sun., Day 2 - Davies racks up 7260 - Last year's US boys decathlon leader with the HS implements, Ben Davies TN, put together a US#1 7260 for the Young Men's 10-eventer.  Shakeia Pinnick IL, who topped 5000 in the heptathon earlier this year, hit 4883 to easily win the Young Women's division.
