HL #7 Bismarck won the Heen-Ihmels Invitational with 59 points, with New Town second with 73 and Williston third with 76.  Joash Osoro led Bismarck with a 15:43 5k win.  Patrick Wolf (New Town) was second at 16:06, with Joe Kemp leading Williston in third at 16:18.  Jeremy Grinnell (New Town, 16:30) and Mark Anderson (Williston, 16:33) completed the top five.

Williston ran to a 34 point total to win the girl's division, with Bismarck (resting several runners) second with 97. Bowman was third with 108 points.  Sarah Feeney led Bismarck won the 4k race with a time of 15:12.  Shanice Lambert (New Town) was second in 15:23, with Dakota Wolf (Dickinson 15:27) third.  Nocona Frame (Glendive 15:31) was fourth and Brooklyn Beehler (Bismarck 15:34) fifth.
