Haley Staples is wins the Palatine Invite Saturday in 17:33 over a wet course. She won the 2005 Palatine Invitational as well .

Cincinnati LaSalle captured the All-Ohio Catholic Invite on Saturday defeating Toledo St Johns in a tie breaker. St.Johns took the first 3 places but the Lancers had depth, placing 7 in the top 22 and in front of St. John's 4th man.

Senior Corey Spriggs at the 2.25 mile mark was 5th when he missed a marker and went off the course by 30 yards. By the time he turned around and went back around the pole, he lost 10 places.

The Cincinnati team defeated 3 of the top ten teams in the State Coaches Poll; #2 Toledo St. John's, #8 Elder by 80 points, and # 10 Cincinnati St. Xavier by 34.
