Rogers boys, Bentonville girls triumph again in 7A
Cameron Efurd and Valerie Reina are fastest of the day

  • Class 7A - Rogers boys 24 over Conway 51; Bentonville girls 65 over Rogers 74
  • Class 6A - Lake Hamilton boys 29 over Marion 57; Mountain Home 21 girls over Lake Hamilton 40
  • Class 5A - Siloam Springs boys 67 over Vilonia 80; Batesville girls 38 over Greene Co. Tech 58
  • Class 4A - Heber Springs boys 40 over Shiloh Christian 41; De Queen girls 56 over Berryville 68
  • Class 3A - Elkins boys 52 over Green Forest 68; Elkins girls 44 over Green Forest 67
  • Class 2A - Trinity Christian boys 98 over Crowley's Ridge Academy 106; Des Arc girls 52 over Acorn 86

Class 7A
  • The Rogers Mounties dismissed the non-believers with their 7th consecutive boys state championship, in spite of having broken into two high schools this fall.  Rogers easily outgunned 2nd place Conway by 24-51 in the Class 7A race as 6 Mounties finished in the Top 10 led by individual champion SR Cameron Efurd who cruised to the win in 15:53. 
  • In  the girls race, Bentonville held off rival Rogers by 65-74 behind SR Katie Dalton, who took 2nd in 19:01.  Rogers lost two of their Top 5 runners to the new high school and still nearly pulled off the upset. 
  • Freshman Valerie Reina of Springdale Har-Ber ran a terrific 18:30 to win 7A and take the best time of the day for all girls by 16 seconds.
 Class 6A
  • Meet host Lake Hamilton was going for the sweep and put away Marion in the boys race by 29-57 but could not get past Mountain Home in the girls meet as the Lady Bombers swooped in for a 21-40 win to post the day's lowest team score.
  • JR Chris Marchman of Sheridan won the boys race in 16:09 (2nd fastest boys time of the day) while FR Sam Mohler of Mountain Home won the girls race in 20:07. 
 Class 5A
  • This class saw Siloam Springs get back onto the trophy stand with a 67-80 win over conference rival Vilonia in the boys race, while Batesville slipped by Greene County Tech by 38-58 in the girls race.   
  • FR Natalie Meinzer of Batesville won the girls in a solid 19:22 while SR Luke Allen of Harrison won the boys in 16:59.
Class 4A
  • DeQueen nipped Berryville 56-68 in the Class 4A girls and Heber Springs, in the closest finish of the day, just edged out Shiloh Christian 40-41 in the boys meet. A bare .57 seconds won the meet for Heber Springs as their 4th runner out leaned Shiloh's 4th.
  • FR Lena Little of Dover won the Girls in 21:34 and JR Andrew Evans of Shiloh won the Boys in 16:59.
Class 3A
  • Elkins was the only double winner of the day as the Elks won the boys Class 3A by 52-68 over Green Forest and the Lady Elks upended Green Forest by 44-67. 
  • JR Grace Heymsfield of Elkins sped to the Girls win in 18:45 for the 2nd best time of the day. SR Tony Stewart of England won the Boys in 17:04.
 Class 2A
  • Des Arc won easily by 52-86 in the girls over Acorn and Trinity Christian narrowly won by 98-106 in the boys over Crowley's Ridge Academy
  • FR Katelyn Carter of Magazine won girls in 20:13 and SR Eston Klutts won boys in 17:52.
