  • Parker Boudreau (Danbury CT sr) reclaims his US#1 1000m with a 2:27.63 victory
  • Bromfield MA junior Emily Jones drops another dominating 2 mile performance, setting a meet record by four seconds with her 10:33.99 clocking (old record 10:37.18 by Cassie Hintz ME)
  • Current US#1 girls shot putter Becky O'Brien (Greely ME sr) backed up that ranking with a strong 48-10.00 win over national weight throw record holder Victoria Flowers (Classical RI sr), who produced a heave of 44-03.75
  • Bloomfield CT senior Dominic Smith ripped a 34.78 in the finals of the 300m dash, outdistancing Matt Washington's (Hope RI sr) runner-up 35.27
  • Omar Aden (Charlestown MA jr) pulled a mild upset in the boys' mile, topping Danbury CT senior Willie Ahearn, 4:14.70 to 4:16.03.
  • In one of the tightest races of the day, Matt Marriott (Staples CT jr) barely edged fellow junior Cas Loxsom (Wilbur Cross CT) in the boys' 600, 1:22.05 to 1:22.06.
  • The La Salle Academy RI girls had a big night, with senior Jeanne Mack winning the mile in 5:01.44, then running a leg on the victorious 4x400 relay, which won in 3:59.01.  The other members of that relay had earlier been part of La Salle's winning 4x200, which took that event in 1:44.51
  • Strong winning high jump marks on both the boys and girls sides, with Dwight Barbiasz (Milford NH sr) leaping 6-09 to take the boys, and Hanna Muir (Wellesley MA jr) scaling 5-07 in the girls event.
