Workerbees

Putting on a meet takes considerable effort, time and a host of volunteers.  Working to keep all things in order is the meet director, timer, chute tenders and course monitors.  Here are a few of those busy people otherwise known as workerbees.

Meet Director, Ed Bowes (L) with
Adam Sanford, Assistant Meet Director
Warren Ring, another Meet Director

Another fine job of announcing on the side:   Dennis Kornfield (l) and Mike Rauh

Some things just don't change.....and that can be a good thing.
Walt Murphy stands where he's stood since the Manhattan Invitational began, 36 years ago, holding the line at the finish.

Look who's watching -- three Cross Country Wise Guys:
from left, New Jersey track writer Ed Grant,  DyeStat founder John Dye and New York Times writer Bill Miller.
